The role

Why Arup?

Arup's purpose, shared values and collaborative approach has set us apart for 80 years, guiding how we shape a better world.

Unleash your creativity and take your skills to new heights while working on business-critical projects. At Arup, we believe in empowering our people to produce work that sets the bar for quality. Our passionate team shares our values, and that's why they love coming to work every day.

The Opportunity

Arup’s Marketing, Communications and Business Development (MCBD) team plays an important role in strengthening our reputation, building client relationships, supporting business growth and attracting talented people.

We are looking for a Digital Visibility & Performance Marketing Specialist to help increase the reach and impact of Arup’s campaigns, content and strategic priorities. Working across paid media, search optimisation and audience targeting, you will help us reach relevant audiences and improve Arup’s discoverability across traditional and emerging AI-powered search experiences.

This is a global role, collaborating with marketing and business leaders across EIMEA, the Americas and APAC, as well as teams supporting sectors including Transport, Water and Energy.

Key Responsibilities

You will help shape and deliver Arup’s paid media and digital visibility activity, using performance insight to continually improve audience engagement and campaign effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Plan, manage and optimise campaigns across LinkedIn, Google Ads, social, search and display channels.
  • Advise on audience targeting, segmentation, channel selection, budgets and campaign optimisation.
  • Identify opportunities to amplify strategic campaigns, thought leadership, events, recruitment activity and business priorities.
  • Conduct keyword research and support SEO, paid acquisition and digital discovery across key markets.
  • Help align paid media, organic search and content marketing to create effective audience journeys.
  • Support emerging digital visibility initiatives, including AI-enabled search, AEO and GEO.
  • Develop and guide advertising copy and creative assets, including localisation for different markets.
  • Turn campaign and performance data into clear insights and practical recommendations.
  • Collaborate with content, design, marketing technology, web, agency and platform partners.

Is this role right for you?

We’re looking for someone with experience delivering and optimising digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager and Google Ads, alongside a good understanding of SEO, keyword strategy and digital discovery.

You Will Bring

  • Strong experience across paid social, search and/or display advertising.
  • An analytical approach, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Experience managing campaign budgets, suppliers and performance against KPIs.
  • Understanding of how paid media, SEO, content, analytics, CRM and marketing technology work together.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ideally gained in a global or matrix organisation.
  • The ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities across different markets.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how digital marketing supports reputation, business development, recruitment and growth.
  • Curiosity about emerging developments in AI, search, audience behaviour and marketing technology.
  • Experience within B2B, professional services, consulting, engineering or the built environment would be advantageous.
  • Experience with some of the following would be beneficial: LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, GA4, SEMrush, Looker Studio, Sprout Social, Marketo, CRM platforms, Adobe Creative Suite and Optimizely.
  • A relevant marketing, communications or digital qualification is desirable, although equivalent practical experience is equally welcomed.
