Senior PPC Manager
The role
Hitting your PPC targets is good. Beating them is better.
You know the satisfaction of finding that extra improvement everyone else missed. Now imagine proving its impact on revenue and turning one success into better results across an entire portfolio.
At Auto iQ, you'll have the technology, proven systems and support to do your best work, with the opportunity to test new ideas, lead a team and help shape how we deliver PPC.
The job
You'll manage your own accounts and lead the PPC team, taking responsibility for delivering the results we promise our clients.
We work exclusively with independent garages, with clear targets for lead volume and cost. Our dashboards give you daily visibility of performance, so you know where to focus your attention and can act quickly.
You'll learn our proven system, then use your expertise to challenge and improve it.
Stay ahead of the game
Our strong relationship with Google gives us early access to new products and beta features, keeping you at the forefront of PPC developments.
You'll have your own development plan, with opportunities to develop the PPC team and expand into other paid channels as we grow.
Who we're looking for
- You ask one more question when everyone else is happy with the answer.
- You love the numbers, but know when you've got enough information to make a decision.
- You make the call, own the result and don't need chasing.
- When something doesn't work, you're the first to find out why and put it right.
You'll already have experience of
- Delivering results: managing multiple PPC accounts while consistently hitting lead volume and cost targets.
- Improving performance: diagnosing problems, finding opportunities to increase leads and reduce cost per lead, and delivering measurable improvements.
- Strategic PPC expertise: spotting new campaign opportunities, deciding how they should be set up, and turning them into approaches that can be rolled out across clients.
- Leading people: managing and coaching PPC professionals to deliver against agreed standards.
- Looking ahead: anticipating performance problems and acting early.
- Technical expertise: using conversion tracking, Google Ads Editor and scripts.
- Other paid channels: delivering results through Microsoft Advertising or Meta.
You'll need a current Google Ads Search certification. Display and Video are a plus.
What you get
- Salary starting at £55,000.
- Hybrid working: Initially two days a week in our Northampton office, potentially reducing to just two days a month once you're consistently achieving your accountabilities.
- Private medical insurance.
- 33 days' holiday, including bank holidays.
- Company pension and personal development plan.
To apply
Apply with your CV, and include a covering letter (attach it with your CV, or email it to [email protected]) telling us about a PPC decision that didn't deliver the result you expected.
How did you know, and what did you change?
A few lines is fine. We're more interested in how you think than receiving an essay.
We're reviewing applications as they arrive and will close the role once we find the right person.
