The role

TapeManBlue is the leading eCommerce brand of tapes and protective films. We're looking for a Senior Amazon Ads Manager - someone who owns the full spectrum of our Amazon advertising.

Here are the details

  • Hours & Schedule: 10-15 hrs/week — no set schedule, so it fits around your life. Most hours should fall within 9–5 M–F, and your time should be spread across the week (not batched into a single block) to keep work & communication flowing.
  • Location: Fully remote — our entire team is remote & spread across the U.S. (you must be U.S.-based). We meet once a year for an in-person retreat.
  • Reports to: CEO — we're a small, tight-knit team.

What you'll do

  • Build & run the campaigns: Launch, manage & optimize Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands (including video) & Sponsored Display campaigns — bids, budgets, keyword & product targeting, placements & negatives.
  • Manage a large budget like it's your own: Forecast, pace & reallocate a significant monthly ad budget. Scale spend behind winners, cut waste fast & keep profitability — not just revenue — as the north star.
  • Drive profitable growth: Continuously improve ACOS, TACoS, ROAS, conversion rate & contribution margin while growing total sales, organic rank & share of voice.
  • Put our tool stack to work: Use Teikametrics to automate & scale bid management, Helium 10 for keyword, competitor & rank research, and My Real Profit to tie ad spend to true product-level profit.
  • Find the next opportunity: Dig into search term, keyword, placement, competitor & ASIN-level data to uncover new keywords, untapped segments & underperforming campaigns — then fix them rather than simply cutting spend.
  • Support launches: Plan & execute ad strategies for new product launches.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Keep current on new Amazon ad formats, features & marketplace best practices, and proactively test what could move the needle for us.

What we're looking for

  • Experience: 5+ years of hands-on Amazon advertising experience, ideally managing established consumer brands in high-volume categories.
  • Large-budget track record: Proven success managing large Amazon ad budgets & delivering profitable growth.
  • Platform expertise: Deep knowledge of Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, AMC, Seller Central & the Amazon Ads console. Familiarity with DSP is a plus.
  • Tool fluency: Hands-on experience with Teikametrics, Helium 10, My Real Profit, or similar platforms (Perpetua, Pacvue, Sellerboard, etc.) and the ability to ramp up quickly.
  • Profit-minded: A strong grasp of ACOS, TACoS, ROAS, CPC, CTR, CVR & contribution margin — and how advertising drives organic rank & total business growth.
  • Independent operator: You'll be our one-person advertising department. You're self-directed, make confident decisions without hand-holding & own results end-to-end.
  • Hands-on doer: Not someone who delegates or just reviews dashboards — you live in the data & do the work yourself, from strategy down to individual keyword negations.
  • Analytical skills: Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills & the ability to turn large amounts of data into clear, actionable decisions.
  • Clear communicator: Comfortable working async on a remote team & explaining performance, challenges & recommendations simply and directly in writing.
  • Organized & reliable: Able to manage multiple ASINs, campaigns & priorities on a part-time schedule while keeping the account healthy all week long.
