The role

Media Buyer (Full-Time | Remote | $3,000 - 5,000/month USD | 9am - 5pm EST working hours)

Industry: Lead Generation | Clients: Regenerative Health/Chiropractic Clinics

Company: LeadJuice

We’re LeadJuice – for over 6 years, we’ve helped alternative integrative medicine practice owners build profitable, systemized businesses through marketing, operations, and training. We started with chiropractic clinics and are now expanding into other areas of alternative medicine. As we grow, we’re hiring a Full-Time Media Buyer.

The Role

The Media Buyer generates qualified leads that convert into booked calls, at a cost the business can sustain and scale. Everything else: the campaigns, the creatives, the bid adjustments, the split tests is in service of that one outcome.A campaign goes live. A Media Buyer manages it. The job is done when leads are arriving at or below cost target, landing pages are converting at benchmark, and the path from click to booked call is working. Anything outside those parameters is a problem in progress and a problem in progress needs to be surfaced, not sat on.The outcome of this function is a qualified pipeline. Not impressions. Not clicks. Not leads. A lead that shows up and books a call.

Outcome

The primary outcome of the Media Buyer role is cost-efficient, qualified lead flow: leads that convert into booked calls at or below the benchmarks defined in this document.Performance is evaluated weekly and reviewed monthly. The Marketing Manager reviews campaign data each week.

What each performance tier means and what it triggers:

TIER: GREEN

BENCHMARK STATUS: CPL ≤ $40 | LP Conv ≥ 5% | Cost/Booked ≤ $125

WHAT IT MEANS: Function is performing. Campaign efficiency is at or above benchmark across all three primary indicators.

RESPONSE: Standard performance management. Continue optimizing.

TIER: YELLOW

BENCHMARK STATUS: CPL $41–$55 | LP Conv 4%–5% | Cost/Booked $125–$150

WHAT IT MEANS: One or more benchmarks are below standard. Optimization is required. Manager-level coaching and weekly check-ins triggered.

RESPONSE: Coaching conversation with Marketing Manager within 48 hrs. Optimization plan documented.

TIER: RED

BENCHMARK STATUS: CPL $55 | LP Conv $150

WHAT IT MEANS: Campaign efficiency is materially underperforming. Qualified pipeline is at risk. Escalation triggered if Red persists.

RESPONSE: Marketing Manager + Head of Growth notified. PIP initiated if Red persists for one week.

Tier is assessed weekly using averages across the account portfolio. A single underperforming week does not trigger Yellow or Red. A trend does.

Benchmarks

The three benchmarks below are the quantitative standards this position is held to. They are not aspirational targets. They are the operating floor. Operating below them consistently is what triggers the outcome tiers above.

BENCHMARK: Cost Per Lead (CPL)

STANDARD: ≤ $40

HOW IT IS MEASURED: Total ad spend ÷ total leads generated. Pulled weekly from ad platform data and confirmed against the Funnel Truth Dashboard.

BENCHMARK: Landing Page Conversion

STANDARD: ≥ 7%

HOW IT IS MEASURED: Unique form submissions ÷ unique landing page visitors. Measured per funnel per account. Tracked in the weekly LPO review cadence.

BENCHMARK: Cost Per Booked Call

STANDARD: ≤ $100

HOW IT IS MEASURED: Total ad spend ÷ confirmed booked calls. Cross-referenced between CRM data and PC output. Validated weekly.

All three are measured from the ad platform and CRM data. The Media Buyer is responsible for ensuring their campaign tracking is intact and their data is clean. Broken tracking cannot be used to defend performance. Dirty data is not an excuse it is a gap that the Media Buyer is expected to flag and fix.

Expectations

This section defines what is expected of a Media Buyer at LeadJuice. It does not prescribe how to optimize your campaigns. The path to hitting benchmark on CPL, landing page conversion, and cost per booked call is yours to find. These expectations define the standard of how you operate while you find it.

  • You own your accounts: Every offer, campaign, or project assigned to you is your responsibility from launch through performance. Budget utilization, creative testing, bid strategy, and landing page alignment are yours to manage. Underperformance in your portfolio is not a circumstance. It is a problem you are expected to identify and address before it is flagged to you.
  • You know your numbers: At any point in the week, you know your CPL, landing page conversion rate, and cost per booked call across your active accounts. You do not wait for the weekly report to find out where you stand. You track this in real time. If you are trending Yellow on any benchmark, you adjust your approach before the week closes, not after.
  • You flag funnel problems early: If a campaign is bleeding spend with no qualified return, if a landing page is converting below 5%, if lead quality from a particular funnel is producing high DQ rates upstream in PC, you surface it. Early. You do not sit on that information waiting for a review cycle. You escalate to the Marketing Manager the moment you identify a pattern, with a clear description of what you are seeing and what you have already tried.
  • You test with discipline: New creatives, new angles, new audiences, and new offers follow a structured test protocol. You do not run parallel untested changes that make attribution impossible. You know what you are testing, why you are testing it, and what a result looks like before you launch. Random experimentation is not optimization. Untraceable changes are not tests.
  • You work the LPO process: The Landing Page Optimization review is not optional. A landing page converting below the benchmark is your problem, even if you did not write the copy. You are accountable for the output, not just the spend.
  • You submit reports on time: Weekly performance reports are submitted to the Marketing Manager each week: every active account, every campaign, on time. The report is not a formality. It is how the team knows what is working, what is not, and where attention is needed. A late or incomplete report is a flag.

The expectations above do not tell you how to optimize. They tell you how to operate while you build the approach that gets you there. Find what works. Own the pipeline.

How Performance Is Reviewed

Performance is reviewed on two cadences

  • Weekly: CPL, landing page conversion, and cost per booked call pulled from the Funnel Truth Dashboard and ad platforms. The Marketing Manager reviews all active accounts each week. Any account trending outside the benchmark is flagged for the following check-in.
  • Portfolio review with the Marketing Manager. Campaign strategy, avatar alignment, funnel-level performance, and forward-looking budget decisions are discussed.

Compensation

  • Base: $3k-$4k/month (to be re-evaluated after 60 days)
  • Bonus structure implemented after 6 months
  • OTE: $60k/yr+
